What is an analog voltmeter?
An analog voltmeter is used specifically for measuring the
AC voltage. The reading is displayed with the help of a pointer this is
constant at the calibrated scale. The movement of the pointer is affcted from
the torque this is performing on it.
What is an ammeter?
An ammeter (abbreviation of Ampere meter) is an instrument used to measure the current in a circuit. Electric currents are measured in amperes. For direct measurement, the ammeter is connected in series with the circuit in which the current is to be measured. An ammeter usually has low resistance so that it does not cause a significant voltage drop inside the circuit being measured.
